126 years-old Traditional EKGs are obsolete, capable of detecting late-stage obstructive coronary artery disease only 15 to 30% of the time. Even cardiologists, working in the best institutions, armed with the current “gold standard” tests, still produce a 60+% false positive rate, sending tens of thousands of patients to unnecessary invasive angiograms, facing high costs, delays in diagnosis, injuries, and even risking death, in addition to the exposures to radiation, IV drugs, and stress.
